Dear Dynamo Families:
In 2020 and 2021, Congress passed three stimulus bills that provided nearly $190.5 billion to the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund. States receive money from this fund based on a percentage set by federal education legislation and distribute a percentage of those funds to local education agencies (school districts, etc.). The Allegheny Valley School District will receive ESSER funds of which at least 20% must be dedicated to learning loss. Every educational leader has the great responsibility to use these non-recurring resources to benefit students and school communities. With this in mind, the Allegheny Valley School District would like input from families on utilizing the funding to help our students.  Would you please take a few minutes to provide your opinions to help us plan?
