Men's Mass on the Mountain RSVP Survey

Men's Mass on the Mountain

We hope everyone can make it! Please take a moment to fill out the survey. We know that not everyone can make the hike up the mountain however we still want maximum participation from all men in the Diocese! If you are unable to make the hike, there will be opportunity for fellowship, confession, and mass at Blessed Sacrament while the others climb up to Sterling Pond. All attendees will have a BBQ together at the Church from 11am to 1pm. The whole point of this is for Catholic men in the Diocese to meet and spend time together. No agenda, no curriculum or talks, just fellowship and a chance to meet other Catholic men.

  • While individuals can participate in the hike, the trail to Sterling Pond is a public trail, a few things to keep in mind:
  • Individuals are assuming the risks of participating and must acknowledge this, the diocese is not sponsoring any participants
  • The diocese cannot assume any responsibility for getting you to and from the churches and trail
  • The hike is approximately 2.2 miles but includes a steep ascent, making it moderately challenging, individuals should be physically able to assume this burden/stress
  • Weather in Vermont is fickle and heat, humidity, rain or cold weather is possible, and walkers must be aware of these possible extremes, as well as bugs, etc
