The survey is estimated to take 10 minutes to complete, but you can also skip positions if you do not have information to provide for them.

For each position, you will be able to indicate whether you are providing data only for hospital locations, non-hospital locations, or both. Please fill out the text boxes next to the designations for the roles that you are supplying information for.

As an example, if you are only providing data related to a hospital scheduling team, you will only need to enter information next to the hospital text box for staffing numbers and the hospital text box for productivity metrics. The other boxes can stay blank. If you have information for two teams to provide (i.e., two separate scheduling teams, one of which serves hospital locations and the other non-hospital), please fill out all applicable text boxes.

For the purposes of this survey:
  • Hospital roles include inpatient care and hospital-based clinics.
  • Non-hospital roles include non-hospital-based clinics/surgery centers/radiology/lab/etc., urgent care and primary care.
  • Telehealth services should be considered hospital or non-hospital based on the place of service that would have applied had the service been provided in-person.
At the end, you will be asked to provide demographic data, including annual patient visit volumes. We will use that information to calculate staffing levels and to calculate peer group comparisons. All responses will be kept anonymous.
