About the Feminist Governance Toolkit

The Feminist Governance Toolkit is designed for boards and board members of specialist gendered violence services in Queensland using intersectional, feminist values, frameworks and practice principles.

The Toolkit supports board members to connect with and understand the purpose and context of the work the service they govern performs. It is designed to complement (but not replace) specialist Not-For-Profit Governance and Cultural Governance Training which can be accessed through other providers and the WorkUP event calendar.

The Toolkit was developed with input from specialist gendered violence services. This helped to understand the capability requirements of boards of these types of services and what they need to know to govern services supporting women, children, gender-diverse peoples, families, and communities.

We invite you to complete this brief survey and share your constructive feedback to help WorkUP Queensland continuously improve the Feminist Governance Toolkit.

Please also feel free to contact WorkUP Queensland at workforce@healingfoundation.org.au to discuss your feedback if you wish.
