Michigan’s Model Arts Education Instruction and Assessment (MAEIA) Project is a partnership between Michigan Assessment Consortium (MAC), Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) and Michigan Department of Education (MDE) that is dedicated to providing resources and tools for K-12 arts education in the state of Michigan.

OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE
Currently we are looking for educators to participate in the role described below. We anticipate a modest stipend, SCECHs, and/or expenses for participation.

~ Arts Assessment Scorers (K-8 and High School)
This is an opportunity for elementary, middle school, and high school arts educators to serve as assessment item scorers in each of the four arts education disciplines. These individuals will meet in Lansing for approximately 3-4 days during the weeks of June 6-10, June 13-17, and, June 20-24, 2016 to score student work, select exemplars and revise scoring tools. A specific schedule for each arts discipline will be established in advance.
