Scholarship for emerging young musicians to promote bluegrass music.

Scholarships are for youths from ages 5-18 who are learning to play an acoustic bluegrass instrument (guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bass or dobro.) The $400 scholarship can be used to reimburse cost for music lessons, tuition/fees for music camp/workshops or travel costs to a camp or festival where there are workshops.

Applications are accepted year-round on a first come-first serve basis to qualified candidates. (As long as funds are available) Preference is given to Montana residents, but if funds allow Idaho applicants may be considered.
