Submit Your Poster Proposal for the 2020 Ohio Early Childhood Conference!
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Every student must be a current member of NAEYC/Ohio AEYC.

Submission Deadlines
· Call for student poster proposals opens February 3, and ends on February 24, 2020
· Final decision on selection for presentation by March 15, 2020
· Notification of acceptance will be emailed to presenters by March 17, 2020
· Accepted students must complete conference registration by March 31, 2020
Poster Guidelines
· Presenters will be provided with an easel to display their poster. All presenters will be required to be at their poster during the entire presentation time
· Presenters will be responsible for sharing their poster content and answering questions from participants on Saturday, April 25th from 12-2 pm
· Presenters will receive complimentary full conference registration (Thursday-Saturday) and a Certificate of Participation

All proposals must include the following criteria:
· Title of the presentation
· Names and college affiliations of presenter and co-presenter (no more than one co-presenter per poster)
· A 50-word or less description of the presentation that will appear on the conference website
· Two learning objectives that participants will take away with them as a result of attending your presentation (See Blooms Taxonomy)
· A 250-word explanation of the content that will be presented during the poster presentation (i.e. what information will be shared during the poster session, include sources used to substantiate your content)

TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
*prepare your submission in a Word document, run spell check, then copy and paste into the system.
*make sure to use professional journals and articles for the research that substantiates your content.
*be concise in the content descriptions - interactions with conference attendees during the poster session will be brief.
