Tuesday, October 17, 2017 4:30-6:30pm - Valley Life Sciences Building, UC Berkeley Campus. This is at the west end of campus about 3 blocks from the Berkeley BART.

At this Field Trip for Teachers on the UC Berkeley Campus, teachers will get the opportunity to tour some of Cal's Natural History Museums that are not generally open to the public. Go behind the scenes to see how scientists use collections in their research. Learn how you might create and use collections in your classroom. Find out about many of field trip possibilities on campus. Take home ideas for NGSS aligned lessons for your classroom.

In between tours we will gather in the courtyard to network, enjoy snacks and beverages, and check out sample lessons, resources, and ideas for bringing students to campus.

We will send you a confirmation email with more details the week before the event.
