Let's get to know our LGBTIQA+ community

About Pride in Peel

Pride in Peel is a recently established incorporated group of LGBTIQA+ representatives. Our group is committed to being agents of change, fostering a friendly and discrimination-free environment in the city of Mandurah and the wider Peel region, where people of LGBTIQA+ are accepted and valued.

Pride in Peel want to hear from those who identify as LGBTIQA+ to provide much needed feedback and pinpoint priorities within their communities. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions below.

Additional Information

The information gathered by Pride in Peel representatives will remain confidential to protect the privacy of all survey participants. The data will be used for future planning and to support funding applications.

Pride in Peel embraces the umbrella term ‘LGBTIQA+’ because it is recognised by many organisations, communities and individuals we work with. We acknowledge that people of diverse sexualities, relationships, gender identities and bodies under this acronym are very distinct groups. Some people may possess multiple or overlapping identities and some may express themselves through other labels of recognition or none at all.

Pride in Peel want to develop a strategic plan to capture the strength, passion, and energy of Peel.  Our aim is to understand what is important to people of LGBTIQA+ and to identify the gaps and barriers they have experienced throughout their communities.
