Graham and Greenlee Awards 2026 Nomination Form

The Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley invites residents of Graham and Greenlee counties to recognize the people and organizations making a difference in their communities. Nominate local volunteers, donors, and community leaders who have given their time, resources, or leadership to support important causes and strengthen the communities we call home. Please submit your nomination for one of the following award categories:

· Ed and Angie Sawyer Graham County Volunteer of the Year: In memory of Ed and Angie Sawyer, this award recognizes an individual in Graham County whose service extends beyond a single organization and demonstrates a broad, sustained commitment to the community. The recipient is someone who generously gives their time, talents, and leadership to support multiple organizations, causes, and community efforts. The award includes a grant that the recipient may direct to a nonprofit organization of their choice.

· Graham County Nonprofit Organization of the Year: This award recognizes a nonprofit organization serving Graham County that has demonstrated a meaningful commitment to strengthening the community and improving the lives of local residents. Whether through providing essential services, creating opportunities, addressing most pressing needs, or bringing people together, the organization exemplifies the positive impact nonprofits can have in Graham County.

· Greenlee County Volunteer of the Year: This award recognizes an individual in Greenlee County who gives their time, talents, and energy to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local residents. The recipient demonstrates a strong commitment to volunteer service and has helped strengthen the community, support local organizations, or improve the quality of life for others. The award includes a grant that the recipient may direct to a nonprofit organization of their choice.

· Greenlee County Nonprofit Organization of the Year: This award recognizes a nonprofit organization serving Greenlee County that has made a meaningful contribution to the community through its programs, services, leadership, or commitment to local needs. The organization demonstrates how nonprofits can bring people together, address challenges, create opportunities, and strengthen the quality of life for residents of Greenlee County.
