Instructions for survey

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Capital Area Council of Governments’ Criminal Justice Regional Needs Survey.
The purpose of this survey is to determine regional needs, which in turn affect the priorities for the Criminal Justice Program, General Victim Assistance Direct Services Program, Juvenile Justice & Truancy Prevention Grant Program, Residential and Community-Based Services for Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Program, Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE)-Ready Facilities Program and Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program. Your feedback is important to us in developing a comprehensive plan for our 10-county service area. The deadline to complete this survey is September 27, 2020.

This survey should only take about 15 minutes of your time. Although your answers may remain anonymous, we encourage you to include your contact information to help us share results and contact you at a later date for participation in future stakeholder meetings.

The survey has four sections – the criminal justice system, juvenile justice and school-based prevention systems, mental health/substance abuse treatment, and victims of crime. Please respond to the sections that are applicable to you.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Matt Holderread, at or 512-916-6185.
