Produce Safety Rule Status Tool Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)Produce Safety Rule This tool is designed to help farms understand their regulatory status. Some farms may be exempt from the Produce Safety Rule based on their sales, market channels and types of products. Each question helps determine whether those exemptions apply to your farm. If you submit your regulatory status at the end, we will send you a written WSDA notice that explains your compliance requirements. The WSDA Produce Safety Program is responsible for educating Washington growers about and ensuring their compliance with this regulation.
