Waterford Festival of Food 2026 traders application form
The 17th annual Waterford Festival of Food will take place from Friday 24th April to Sunday 26th April 2026 and the festival team is currently busy putting together another amazing programme of events.
We are now taking expressions of interest for our markets, which will take place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April 2026. The emphasis is on local and artisan producers, so priority will be given to traders from County Waterford.
Our Saturday market has grown hugely in recent years, with record numbers in attendance in 2025. We also have an extended programme of children's and family events which will take place at Dungarvan Castle right at the end of the quay. This will include food demos, Tirlan family fun including a mobile petting farm, Lamh Cookery Demonstration, a mobile sensory room, and children's funfair. The WLR Roadcaster will also broadcast from Dungarvan throughout the weekend and there will be live music and entertainment.
During the application process you can indicate if you prefer to trade at the Saturday market, Sunday market or both.
The closing date for expressions of interest is Friday, 30th January 2026. Offers of pitches will be made and invoices issued during March.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Applications from vendors using gas will not be considered.
2. This application form is a registration of interest only, and trading at Waterford Festival of Food is limited and not guaranteed.
