Thank you for applying to the BCAFM Vendor Membership Program. The application should take only approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

As you know, BCAFM is pleased to offer a growing selection of great vendor benefits through this program. Please click here for a complete list of current BCAFM vendor member benefits.

A few important things to note before you start your application:

  • Enrolment in the BCAFM Vendor Membership Program is voluntary. You do not need to be enrolled in this BCAFM program to sell at a BCAFM member farmers’ market.
  • However, you do need to be a vendor selling at a BCAFM member farmers’ market to be eligible for this program.
  • As in the past, eligibility for vendor insurance offered through this program, will be determined entirely by Western Financial.
  • The BCAFM office will review your membership eligibility and online application in 3 to 5 business days and notify you via email whether your application is approved.
  • Following approval, you will be sent a separate link for membership payment to finalize your annual membership.

The BCAFM Vendor Membership renews annually on January 1st and you can apply for this program at any time throughout the year. However, the $75 annual membership fee will not be pro-rated.

A Person may be eligible to be accepted as a BCAFM Vendor Member if they:

(a) are a Vendor at a BCAFM member farmers’ market;
(b) are nineteen (19) years of age or older;
(c) are ordinarily resident in British Columbia; and
(d) agree to advance the purposes and support the activities of the Society (BCAFM).

A Person is NOT eligible to be accepted as a BCAFM Vendor Member if they are:

(e) an employee of BCAFM;
(f) a contractor for services with BCAFM with an annual aggregate value of $10,000 or more; or
(g) the spouse of a Person referred to in either paragraphs (e) or (f), above.

An Organization may be eligible to be accepted as a Vendor Member if it:

(h) is a Vendor at a BCAFM member farmers’ market;
(i) is ineligible to be accepted as a Farmers’ Market Member;
(j) carries on regular operations in British Columbia; and
(k) agrees to advance the purposes and support the activities of the Society.
