Question Title

* 3. The Old City Water Tower that is located behind the Library and Police Station, on the corner of Wood Avenue and Barbara Street, is no longer needed for the City’s water system, but is still a significant landmark. The Water Tower’s condition is slowly deteriorating, which negatively impacts its appearance
and safety. In order to keep the Tower safe, it needs to be either maintained, or removed. Since it is covered in lead paint, the cost of removing the tower is estimated to be only slightly less expensive than refurbishing it, but it would eliminate future maintenance costs.
Are you in favor of using City funds to refurbish the Water Tower and preserve it, or would you rather see it removed than use City resources to maintain it?
