A significant portion of professionals in various specialties are employed in the industrial sector, working in different departments that share a common goal: Company’s Success.
However, each individual department, regardless of whether it is PMO department, Technical, R&D, Marketing, Finance, HR, QA, QC, etc., beyond its daily operations, is called upon to complete a series of diverse, and many times major projects, that unexpectedly encounter various challenges complicating the work and leading to cost and time overruns for the project.
The aim of this research is to identify the causes, behind these challenges, that lead to cost overruns and to correlate any parameters that affect the successful completion of a project.
