Job Description

Main Objective
As an in-house professional translator with Four Principles Management Consulting, you will be based in our Dubai office and tasked to provide support to our Consulting team, producing and translating professional documentation for internal and external client-related purposes, in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with translation and production work of professional proposals, steering committee decks, reports, official letters, articles or any other document as required.
  • Conduct accurate translation of documents from English to Arabic and Arabic to English.
  • Keep formatting in line with Four Principles’ brand guidelines and ensure that the meaning and context of the source text is retained.
  • Review and proofread all translated documents ensuring that they are of the highest linguistic quality and maintain consistency in terminology and writing style, in both English and Arabic.
  • Ensure consistency of translation within documents and assist to provide efficiency.
  • Perform oral translation duties as required.
  • Handle time-sensitive projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining translation quality.
  • Ability to translate client meetings and brainstorm sessions into writing in Arabic and English.
  • Conduct research and utilize relevant glossaries, dictionaries, and reference materials to enhance translation accuracy and stay up-to-date with industry-specific terminology.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to other support functions (HR, Finance) to optimize operational efficiency and teamwork.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company documents.
Required Skills
  • A minimum of 2+ years of professional translation experience
  • Fluent command of English and Native command of Arabic
  • Prior experience with translations for the Consulting Industry and knowledge of the relevant terminology
  • Confident knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly PPT, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial and team spirit
  • High level of intelligence, commitment and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Professional demeanor & excellent interpersonal skills
  • International experience (outside of the GCC) would also be beneficial

A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a relevant field.
