Description: The OADN Foundation Donna Meyer Visionary Impact Award is a prestigious honor bestowed to recognize an individual who has had a distinguished lifetime career and a significant impact on fulfilling the mission and vision of the organization. This esteemed award acknowledges the recipient’s consistent and exceptional contributions throughout their career, which have not only enhanced associate degree nursing education but also advanced the mission and vision of OADN.

The recipient will be recognized, and the award will be presented at the 2026 OADN Convention, Empowering the ADN Educator: Flourishing with Strength and Sustainability, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, in San Antonio, TX, November 12 - 14, 2026.

The nominee is NOT required to hold OADN membership.

Instructions: To apply and/or nominate a colleague, please complete the online application and submit the following materials requested by file upload on or before the application deadline of May 15, 2026:

  • Letter of Nomination: A letter of nomination of no more than 500 words attesting to how the nominee’s leadership and service have advanced associate degree nursing and made a significant impact on the mission and vision of OADN.

  • Supporting Materials: Any additional materials that support this nomination will be accepted and considered. Please limit to (3) three supporting documents. Please indicate criterion addressed on these materials when uploading files on the online application (e.g., student recommendations, colleague recommendations, awards, recognition, etc.)

  • Nominee Headshot: A current headshot photo (see file upload instructions) for marketing and/or ceremonial use only. OADN Foundation blinds the candidate headshot information to eliminate possible unconscious bias in the review process. In drafting your candidate statements, please note that your headshot will not be shared with reviewers. Only your application packet narrative and supporting documents will be accessible to reviewers.
