1. Rating The Accomplishment of 2015-2020 Goals

Freeport Public Schools is developing a third, five-year Strategic Plan to continue to build upon student success and achievement during 2020-2025. Before establishing new goals for the district, the District has been evaluating the extent to which the goals for the last five years were accomplished. The District has made gains, but continues to strive towards proficiency and excellence for all our students and school community. Your input is invited in sharing your view of the extent to which these goals have been successful. Please rate each of the goals below on the extent to which they are being achieved. * 1. The following Goals were used to guide the work of the Freeport Public Schools between 2015-2020. Based on your knowledge, how would you rank the importance of continuing to work on these goals for 2020-2025?

Goal #1: Increase student achievement and promote academic rigor (e.g. improved graduation rate, improved scores on State and Local achievement tests, improved opportunities for college credit courses)

Goal #2: The district will be increasingly efficient and effective in its programs and operations (e.g. maintaining a school tax rate at or below the average for Nassau County, identifying and providing for needed improvements in school facilities)

Goal #3: Foster an educational community that supports a positive climate and culture (e.g. reducing the number of out-of-school student suspensions, providing for the social and emotional needs of students)

Goal #4: Expand internal and external communications (e.g. increasing the number of parents accessing the District's Parent Portal in order to stay informed, providing students with electronic devices through which learning is improved and information is provided to students and parents)
