  • Identify common forms of bias that may influence clinical decision-making and care delivery for children with medical complexity (CMC).
  • Recognize how bias can contribute to inequities in access, communication, pain management, and care coordination for CMC and their families.
  • Reflect on one's own attitudes and assumptions when caring for children with medical complexity and identify at least one actionable step to improve equitable care in practice.
