Please complete by June 30, 2025

The purpose of the consensus conference is to bring attention to the impact of unreliable health information on emergency care and to develop a 10-year research agenda in order to address it.

As a volunteer, you will be a part of creating change. For over 20 years, national and international experts have come together at the SAEM Consensus Conference to address key issues in academic emergency medicine. And it has made an impact. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer in the conference, please complete this brief form. We are looking for a diverse range of volunteers with varied expertise and experience.

Volunteers should expect to attend monthly conference calls, contribute to virtual discussions, draft parts of potential manuscripts leading up to the conference, and attend the consensus conference itself.

Not all volunteers may be selected. Assignments will be based on availability and needs of conference co-chairs and working group leaders. If you don't currently have capacity to contribute to a working group, please save the date and join us as a participant on the day of the Consensus Conference on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the SAEM Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

Travel to and from the conference will be at your own expense. Please plan to make your own arrangements to be at the SAEM Consensus Conference on 5/18/2026.
