2026 Westerville Small & Large Business of the Year Nomination

Award Nomination Information

The Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce is honoring local businesses for their significant role in driving Westerville’s business climate and economic growth. To be considered for the Large Business of the Year or the Small Business of the Year Award, the business must be setting the standards for excellence and innovation with their business practices and community involvement.

Recipients will be honored at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting, Awards, and Innovation Showcase Luncheon, January 26, 2027. Please visit www.westervillechamber.com for more information about the event.

Eligibility Requirements
Businesses interested in participating in the Award Program must meet certain minimum qualifications. To be considered for the Award Program, a company must meet the following on the date of the application:
  • Be a for-profit entity.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce both at the time of the nomination and when the award is announced.
  • Company must not have won either award within the last 5 years.
  • Have an office with employees working in the greater Westerville area.

Nomination applications may be submitted as:
  • a self-nomination
  • an individual affiliated with the business
  • Or you may refer the name of the business to the Chamber (614-882-8917) and we let the business know they have been nominated and invite them to complete the application.
The Awards Committee reserves the right to move the business into another category during judging.

Deadline for receipt of nominations is Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Notification
Applicants will be contacted in mid-December to announce the 2025 recipients. The Award will be presented at the Annual Meeting, Awards, and Innovation Showcase luncheon, Tuesday, January 26, 2027.

Include a brief description of the business activities in Greater Westerville and how the business has grown or plans to expand in the future. Please include details related to the financial trajectory of the business.(Required.)
9.Leadership & Organizational Culture: Provide brief description of the company culture. Highlight leadership and employee development initiatives. What services does the business support promoting employee health and well-being? Describe sustainability programs or environmentally oriented initiatives.(Required.)
10.Business Growth: Does the business support business collaborations promoting the growth of Westerville businesses (including relationships with other community partners/business associations)? Highlight developments or advances the company has experienced in the last two years. How has the business been involved with the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce?(Required.)
11.Innovation (management or product): Demonstrate how the company is considered creative and innovative. Highlight accomplishments within the business sector or the community at large.
12.Demonstrate how the company has contributed positively to the Westerville area community in a non-business way. Provide information on any charitable giving campaigns or nonprofit organizations that the business has been involved with in the past year.(Required.)
