How To Participate

We invite you to be a participating shop or restaurant for the "Friends Night Out" special fundraising event.  
 
What is the Event? Participating businesses invite you to “Friends Night Out”, a special passport and fundraiser. Friends Night Out is a festive shopping experience in which customers can purchase a "passport" for $15/per person and visit participating retailers to redeem for special gifts.  Passport pick up locations for participants on the day of event will be The Popinjay and Sound Vision Living.  Passport retail value estimate is more than $100. A purchase enters customers into a drawing to win raffle prizes. Enjoy shopping in historic downtown Olympia and support a local cause. Event proceeds benefit Homes First. Limit 250.  
 
How to Participate
 
Complete this survey to confirm your opt in & agree to the following:
  1. Soft deadline to opt in is October 4, 2019 so that you can be included in major event marketing. 
  2. Donate one $20 gift certificate to the raffle drawing.
On November 8/Day of Event
  • Give each passport carrying participant a special gift. (Up to 250 shoppers/gift item or coupon of $5 retail value, or equivalent creatively)
  • Initial passports to ensure only one gift per store.
  • Give each person that purchases in your store a raffle ticket.
  • Give additional raffle tickets for every $20 purchased.
    Return raffle tickets to the Olympia Downtown Alliance on Friday – prizes will be announced on Monday and awarded at Mixx 96.1 KXXO.
     
 The Olympia Downtown Alliance Will:
  • Set up online passport registration.
  • Promote 
  • Purchase nice branded gift bags
  • Produce a participating business passport.
  • Purchase raffle tickets to give to businesses
  • Receive gift certificates for prizes
  • Draw for raffle prizes and deliver award information to Mixx96.1
