Tate Township Future Land Use Survey
Survey Description
Tate Township is undergoing a Comprehensive Plan process, which will help provide direction on future decisions related to land use and zoning. This survey is intended to build on the information we heard from Phase 1 and will help us draft the Future Land Use Map and Land Use Districts within the Plan document. This portion of the plan will include preferred future uses and guidelines for future development. For more information and additional surveys, please visit the Township's website:

We would like to know which of these options you prefer to manage compatibility between the different uses. Please select one of the following options below.
Note: This feedback is to help gather a general sense of how the public perceives conflicts between uses. It is not related to any specific zoning matter.
A solid wall or fence should be required between commercial / industrial and residential properties.
A landscaped buffer area should be required between commercial / industrial and residential properties.
Increased setbacks (the required distance a building can be constructed from a property line) should be required between commercial / industrial and residential properties.
A combination of option 1, 2, and/or 3.
