Volunteers Needed!

Want to participate in the Far Northeast Area planning process?
The Far Northeast Neighborhood Area Plan team is looking for volunteers to help collect sidewalk data in Green Valley Ranch. This is something volunteers can do on their mobile devices while walking their neighborhood at their convenience!

What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will walk streets in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood (or several routes just west of Montbello) and collect data using Walkscope, a sidewalk evaluation tool developed by WalkDenver. The information will be used to make recommendations in the Far Northeast Area Plan.

If you regularly walk your community, belong to an exercise group, or simply would like to help, sign up below!

What do volunteers need to know?
Data collection can be done as you walk and should take the amount of time it would take to walk the street segment you choose to survey. City planners will hold a training  to teach volunteers how to use Walkscope.  (The date of the training will be communicated to volunteers at a later date.) Instructions will be available for those who can't attend the training but still want to participate.

All sidewalk data must be collected by Friday, March 16.
