Hoop Heroes Program Overview

After-School All-Stars (ASAS), is a national non-profit organization which provides free, daily afterschool programs to nearly 75,000 students from New York to Hawaii.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Hoop Heroes mentor! Hoop Heroes is a free intensive youth leadership and mentoring program which responds to the need for students to have more mentor opportunities. Hoop Heroes leverages the game of basketball to provide middle-school participants with caring mentors and exposure to different educational and career paths. During the camp, volunteers mentor participants one-on-one and educate them about high school, college and career opportunities.

This camp will take place at Stuart-Hobson Middle School, right near Union Station. The address is 410 E Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002.
