Thanks for your interest in the Young First Nations Research Associate role - working for Learning Creates Australia (learningcreates.org.au).

The purpose of this action-research project is to collate insights on the different approaches that local communities and jurisdictions are taking in recognising and supporting Indigenous perspectives of wellbeing and student belonging in school. From these insights, the action-research will draw out common themes and methodologies being employed to understand the rationale behind why such approaches are being employed in particular contexts.

Please note:
  • This position is open to Victorian based First Nations young people (19 - 28). Learning Creates is committed to appointing First Nations young people in these roles, in accordance with the Special Measure of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010
  • The role is based in Melbourne, Victoria, working with and receiving support from and formal reporting to the Director Strategic Design and Communications
  • There are 2 positions available - We are looking for an interest in and/or skill set of interviews, research analysis and storytelling
