dfusion is a small woman-run business committed to developing science-driven innovations to improve health and education. dfusion's products are informed by the latest scientific research about what works for heightened relevance and impact and has developed awad winning game-based learning and digital education tools. The Division on Addiction at Cambridge Health Alliance (a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital) directs educational, medical, and scientific resources toward alleviating the vast and complex array of public health problems caused by addictive behaviors, resulting in groundbreaking psychiatric epidemiological research concerning addictive behavior.

We were recently awarded funding from the National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Drug Addiction to develop a new game-based learning intervention to help high school students understand and reduce the risks of problem gambling. As the first step in the project, we are interviewing high school teachers and administrators to learn about current approaches to teaching about gambling and consumer literacy, and to gather input on how a resource like this could best fit into the classroom.

If eligible and consenting, you will take part in one recorded interview (in dfusion's Microsoft Teams platform or Cambridge Health Alliance's Google Meet Platform) with a member of the research and development team to talk about your experiences and ideas for this tool.
