Business South Insights Participation Terms & Conditions

Purpose of Data Collection
By completing this survey or participating in an insight’s conversation, you agree that the information you provide will be used by Business South to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and develop tailored support and action plans.

Use of Secure AI Tools
Business South uses a secure, enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence (AI) system to assist with data analysis and reporting. This technology helps identify trends and insights efficiently and is used in accordance with Business South’s data privacy and security standards.

Data Privacy and Confidentiality
All personal and business information is treated as confidential. Identifiable data will not be shared outside Business South without your consent.

Anonymised Data and Research
Your data may be anonymised and combined with other participants’ information for research or evaluation purposes. This may include a longitudinal study in collaboration with the University of Otago, to understand business trends and outcomes over time. No individual business will be identifiable in any published results.

Data Storage and Retention
Data will be securely stored and retained only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described above, in compliance with privacy and data protection laws.

Your Rights
