The Alcohol and Families Alliance was set up in 2013 to bring together organisations and individuals concerned about children and families negatively affected by alcohol. Our ambition is to bring this issue to the attention of the media, policy makers and decision makers, and to influence for change to improve the lives of families affected by alcohol.
We want to campaign to amplify the voices and experiences of kinship families caring for children as a result of parental alcohol or other substance use.
To do this effectively, we need to strengthen our evidence base so we can clearly communicate the challenges these families face, and build a case for the changes needed to ensure kinship families affected by alcohol and substance use receive the recognition and support they need.
We're looking to hear from kinship carers affected in this way to hear about your experiences and of the child/children in your care.
The survey is anonymous and will take around 5 minutes to complete.
