The BCM Huffington Department of Education, Innovation and Technology invites submissions to the 2nd Annual Showcase of Educational Scholarship. We welcome all forms of educational scholarship, including program descriptions and educational research. We seek both complete projects and Works in Progress (WIPs).

The goal of the showcase is to share work in education across BCM related to any learner population or topic. There are three tiers for accepted submissions.

ALL QUALIFYING SUBMISSIONS:

1) General Showcase Mini-posters: All submissions that meet the criteria (e.g., education-related, BCM authored, correct template) will be displayed as a Showcase Mini-poster allowing for post-submission feedback and conversations with others who are engaged in the work. Mini-posters will contain an abstract related to the work, as well as a QR code allowing attendees to explore additional resources related to the project or research. This is the default submission category.

COMPETITIVE:

2) Top Rated - Poster Presentations: Highly rated submissions will participate in traditional poster session with an opportunity to present and discuss their work with others.

3) Best of Showcase - Pecha Kucha Presentations: The top five submissions will be asked to give a 7-minute-long short talk presentation to close out the Showcase.
