This survey was developed by Nearby together with Boggy Creek Farm in order to test the validity of a new type of membership plan which fans, supporters and patrons of the farm pay to ensure that Boggy Creek keeps existing, expanding and producing delicious, healthy and rich local food. Nearby is an ATX based startup, an online mapping system of local food network, and a platform matching venues with supporters giving users direct stake in shaping the local food environment.

Highly; they pioneered & led the movement and continue to do so w/ transparency and ease of access.

They are one of many who have been consistent in growing fresh foods for the community. I usually shop at farmers markets.

I am not aware of the impact they have or had on the Austin local food scene.

Yes, and that is also why Boggy Creek Farm is such an important resource for me and my family.

* 7. What would you hope to receive in return for becoming a contributing friend of the farm?

Nothing, ensuring that Boggy Creek Farm is able to continue its contribution to a stable local food system while offering the community a place to take a step back in time would satisfy me.

I would expect to be loosely integrated into their ‘family’ through notifications of their growth plans.

I would hope to receive an invitation to an annual friends of the farm celebration.

I would expect to hear from them monthly (a sneak peak of new veggies nearing harvest in the field, a season recipe, or a personal greeting / chat at the Saturday market, would be sufficient.
