Join us to enhance your advocacy and leadership skills! PEAL's Family Leadership Institute (FLI) will help parents and caregivers of children and young people with disabilities and special healthcare needs to develop an understanding of healthcare, education, and disability policies. Tools will be used to increase the impact of your voice to promote change beneficial to children, young people, and families across Pennsylvania. Participants will focus on a specific area of interest to effect change. By applying, you are committing to attending all in-person sessions in the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton area.
We appreciate your interest in the FLI held for families who live in northeastern Pennsylvania, held on October 28-29, November 11-12, and December 2-3 of 2022!

We have a few more slots available, so we are excited to announce that the application deadline has been extended to October 7th, 2022

If you need assistance completing your application, we are happy to help, please reach out to Sue Killmeyer at skillmeyer@pealcenter.org.

We will review all applications and inform you of your acceptance by October 14th.
