You’re invited! Watch the free online reading of a Saskatchewan book!

To celebrate Family Literacy Day in Saskatchewan, our province will host a free online reading and live question-and-answer time with Saskatchewan author and educator Wilfred Burton and his book "Kohkum's Royal Bannock" (published by Thistledown Press) on January 27, 2026 starting at 10:00am CST (UTC -06:00) - for families of all ages!

Sign up to hear the book from the author, learn about the joyful chaos of making lots of food at once, and maybe even try your own bannock recipe! You can also ask your questions live! People of all ages can join to explore the math, science, and deliciousness of "Kohkum's Royal Bannock" together.

Every sign-up will be entered into a draw for a free copy of the book, too!
