Adult beetles can be seen in gardens, copses, hedgerows and parks throughout the summer. Eight of the sites are open to the public: Happy Bottom Nature Reserve, Ashington Meadow and Cutting, Cogdean Elms and Rushcombe Bottom, all Local Nature Reserves, Barrow Hill, Diprose Dale, Corfe Hills West and Corfe Hills Middle and South.
