The City of Astoria has initiated a planning process to update the 2016 Parks & Recreation Master Plan, looking forward to the next 10 years of serving the community.

The Master Plan Update will provide a variety of opportunities for public involvement, including multiple open house events and online surveys. Upcoming opportunities include:
  • Open House #1 - November 15th, 2025, from 12:00PM-2:00PM at the Astoria Armory.
  • Online Survey #1 (you are here!) - November 10-24, 2025.
These opportunities will allow you to provide more in-depth feedback about what you value about parks and recreation offerings in Astoria and what you'd like to see in the future.

Your participation and input will assist the Parks and Recreation Department in prioritizing future operations based on community feedback.

Please contact Parks Director Jonah Dart-Mclean at jdart@astoria.gov or (503)298-2467 for any questions about the Master Plan process. You can also visit the Master Plan website for posted updates here: APRD Master Plan Page
