Regional Community Institute Cultivation Survey

Cultivation Introduction

The Regional Community Institute (RCI), a non-profit organization that does policy work in conjunction with the Northeast Florida Regional Council (NEFRC), is currently reviewing the approaches that might work best in our region in support of agriculture, silviculture, and fisheries. We call those pursuits “Cultivation”, and NEFRC has added an element to its required Strategic Regional Policy Plan by that name to indicate the importance of cultivation to Northeast Florida. The element identifies the significance of cultivation to the economy, resilience, equity, and quality of life, but leaves as a next step the determination of what approaches will work in Northeast Florida. RCI is attempting to answer that question. To do that, we need to hear from you!
