Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) is proud to be partnering with Gippsland PHN to co-design and deliver the Alcohol and Other Drugs General Practice Education Support Project.

The Gippsland PHN Alcohol and Other Drugs General Practice Education Support Project provides educational support and resources to assist with delivery of drug and alcohol training to GPs and other health professionals in Gippsland PHN region.

The project aims to:

·         Build capacity of the health workforce to deliver high quality care for clients with drug and alcohol issues.

·         Enhance GP and other health professional’s knowledge and application of AOD addiction referral pathways and access to AOD treatment.

·         Increase awareness of the range of evidence-based resources available to GPs and other health professionals to improve AOD treatment.

 
The initial stage of the program encompasses fact finding and the collation of feedback from GPs on current experiences and those enablers and barriers to alcohol and other drugs treatment within general practice, and access to services and supports within the health care neighbourhood.

We would therefore appreciate if you could spend no more than 15 minutes of your time completing the following survey.
