Guilford County Parks is investigating changes to Gibson Park, specifically the addition of a dog park, two (2) medium rectangular athletic fields, a basketball court, and/or other amenities as identified. Your answers to this 10 minute, 20 question survey are a valuable part of our process.
We have a responsibility to be responsive to community requests, changing user demographics/preferences, and trends in the services we provide. This requires us to occasionally evaluate park options to ensure optimal design, usage, and equitable distribution of county resources and customer needs.
This is the first step of the evaluation process that will include focus groups, community meetings, and a formal presentation of conceptual plans prior to any changes. If you would like to be kept informed throughout this process, please leave your contact information in the space provided at the end of this survey.
Aggregate responses to this survey will be shared with Guilford County staff, members of the Guilford County Parks Advisory Board, a landscape architectural firm, and the public. Guilford County makes no assurances as to the anonymity/privacy of the responses provided.
This survey will remain live until Wednesday, August 8th at 11:59 p.m.
