The SDCBA prides itself on providing innovative and relevant educational programs to its members with a focus on technology and law practice management, in addition to targeted programming on best practices and developments in specific areas of law. As the profession continues to evolve, we work to create programming that addresses the changing needs of attorneys across all areas of practice and experience levels, in a way that is meaningful to not only their practice but also to their personal and professional development. We are interested in recruiting compelling and dynamic speakers to participate in live seminars, conferences, roundtable discussions and more.

Interested speakers should:

• Be able to provide a diversity of perspective and a broad and balanced approach to the presented content;
• Be members of the SDCBA whenever possible; and
• Be recognized and noted in the community/industry for their subject matter expertise

DIVERSITY: The SDCBA is committed to affirmatively seeking and encouraging the participation of diverse speakers, which includes but is not limited to to people who have less than 5 years of legal practice, women, people of color, people with disabilities and people who identify as LGBTQ+.

If you are interested in speaking at an SDCBA program, please submit a proposal here. All proposals will be reviewed monthly and you will be contacted if your topic and proposal is in line with the organization’s current educational goals. The SDCBA is committed to inclusion efforts, and we hope to receive proposals from a diverse and broad spectrum of the legal community and San Diego’s greater community at large.
