AUSTRALIAN EVENTS SECTOR SURVEY 2020 Please complete by 9am Tuesday 24 March 2020


The Business Events Council of Australia (BECA) has formulated a survey  to gather facts about the immediate impact of COVID19 on our collective industry sector and what we need to assist in our recovery program.  The survey will be distributed throughout the members of all the industry bodies. 

Time is of the essence for us to attain the information from you, collate it and then share with Government through BECA with formal submissions due to Government early next week.   BECA has been on the front foot with initial reporting and discussions but now we need to provide more details.
We ask you to take a few moments to share the information below based on where your business stands today in relation to the impact felt now. We appreciate this may change but we need to gauge the impact at this point of time.

It is also important we have integrity around the reporting.  For example, if you are the PCO or Event Organiser, please only report on the impact of the cancellation or postponement to YOUR business – not the total worth of the business. The hotels, venues, exhibition suppliers, agencies etc will capture their cost in their own reporting.
