Welcome

This survey is about how COVID-19 has affected family connections for children and young people in care.
"In care" means children and young people who were removed from their parents by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ, used to be called FACS and DOCS) because of child protection concerns.
Thanks for taking time to complete the survey and helping us to learn about your experiences.
We will use survey responses to talk to others about families’ experiences and to advocate for the rights of children in care to stay connected with their families. This is an anonymous survey and you will not be identified.

The questions are mostly multiple choice. Others ask you to describe some of your experiences. In some questions, we ask about “face-to-face” family time. This means seeing your child in-person - not via phone, video, etc.
