Welcome.

Welcome to the Converter Questionnaire for the half-yearly FINAT RADAR Report. Once again, this addition of the survey is a special one, as we have included a number of questions associated with the current pandemic in addition to the current state of sustainability in the European labelling market. Our goal in asking these questions is to ensure our members have the most up-to-date data and information possible and to be able to compare and contrast their own company's performance given the rise of the pandemic to those of their peers within their own region, as well as different regions in Europe.

As a reminder, we are not asking for your contact information to ensure absolute confidentiality of all data. The results of this survey will only be presented in an aggregated format. If you do not know the answer to a survey question, please simply move on to the next question. If you have any questions about the survey or about the FINAT RADAR, please email jlejeune@lejeune.nl or jennifer@lpcprint.com.

Question Title

* 15. Introduction to Supply Chain Section:

Given the extreme challenges with the current state of the global supply chain, FINAT’s members have requested that we include a series of questions in this edition of the RADAR in order to track the current situation and the impact that it is having on our members.

For this question, we are trying to understand the impact on converters’ revenues that issues beyond the label supply chain are having. For example, if a bottling company is unable to obtain enough plastic resin to manufacture all the products that their own customers need, this would result in this customer purchasing lower volumes of labels.

Have your customers’ supply chain issues (with products other than labels) resulted in decreased volumes of products that they purchase from you?

Question Title

* 16. If you answered yes to the previous question, please tell us what percentage of your company’s revenues have been lost due to these types of supply chain issues that your customers might be having? (Again, this is separate from the label supply chain, we are asking about other packaging-associated products and the effects that this might be having downstream to impact our own industry.)

Question Title

* 17. We would now like to try to determine the impact on converters’ revenues that the label supply chain is having on companies like yours. Have supply chain issues for raw materials (labelstocks, inks, etc.) reduced your company’s revenues?

Question Title

* 18. If you answered yes to the previous question, please tell us what percentage of your company’s revenues have been lost due to supply chain issues directly within our own industry?

Question Title

* 19. With the current situation in Europe and the difficulty companies are having in sourcing paper-based raw materials, we want to ask if your company has witnessed some of your customers considering other print formats that are paper-less. Please check the boxes below that are applicable to your business currently (you can choose more than one):
