Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine (SASSMM) is partnering with the Children's Safety Partnership, a collaboration of the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MECASA) and the Maine Department of Education (DOE), to offer two days of training opportunities to support schools in implementing the child sexual abuse prevention and response policy. Trainings will focus on understanding the policy, personnel awareness and education, and how to train fellow school personnel in compliance with the law.

To register for training please provide your contact information, and indicate which training you plan to attend. If more than one person will be attending training from your school district/organization, each person needs to register separately. We are still working to confirm location details. In the coming weeks participants will receive an email containing an agenda and location details.

Any questions can be directed to SASSMM Education Co-Coordinator, Julia Papell. Julia will be on vacation the week of February 17th-21st - if you have questions during this time, feel free to reach out to Katie Church, Children's Safety Partnership Coordinator at the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
