Mouse Genome Informatics (http://www.informatics.jax.org/) is a free, highly curated resource providing searchable web and programmatic access to complete catalog of mouse genes and genome features, functional annotations, variation, gene expression data and a comprehensive index of mutant and knockout alleles, phenotypes and human disease models.
This practical workshop is designed to include short introductory sections to the features and tools, as well as hands-on, practical experience working through biologically relevant exercises. The focus of this workshop will be on the web interface, no programming knowledge or prior experience is required. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own research-specific questions.
