Loading Zone Survey

The rapid growth of delivery services in our area has run into a problem that has been around for a while: When a vehicle arrives on a block looking for a space at the curb, all the spaces are often already occupied. This situation leads directly to improvisational parking in traffic lanes, bike lanes, and crosswalks, and occasionally even at fire hydrants. (In fiscal year 2021, the Philadelphia Parking Authority issued 31,380 tickets citywide for parking at a fire hydrant.)

CCRA is exploring ways to make things better, and we would appreciate it if you took a minute or two to answer a few questions.
1.Many CCRA households do not own a car. But it's likely that we all have experienced at least some of the effects of the very tight parking situation in our community. Have you experienced any of the following issues? (Check all that apply.)
2.One way to increase access to the CCRA area during the day is to create one or two loading zones on each block. These loading zones would operate during the day, and at night they would go back to being regular parking spaces, so there would be no loss of overnight parking spaces. Would you like to see a pilot program in a portion of the CCRA area to test the effectiveness of these loading zones?
