This survey focuses on adult programming, with “adult” defined as anyone 18 and older.
The Library District offers a variety of programs and classes for adult learners in the following areas:
Author Talks: talks by national, regional, and local authors and are usually accompanied by a book signing.
Arts & Entertainment: DIY crafts, cooking demonstrations, music and concerts, artist talks, movies, lectures.
History & Current Events: Great Decisions, Local History tours and talks, genealogy.
Sustainability: Seed Sowing Center, hikes, gardening, plant swaps, sustainable crafts.
Health & Wellness: defensive driving, tai chi classes, financial workshops.
Books & Writing: writing groups, book clubs, poetry nights, open mics.
Public Computer Center: hands-on technology training on a wide variety of software applications.
