Summer 2026 Festival Fridays!

Thank you for your interest in participating in Festival Fridays!

The Festivals are designed specifically to partner with area DDA to create a street festival in rural communities. Although the dates and locations are being approved, the events are designed more like a street festival than a food truck rally with merchandise vendors, farmers, and car show participants. The purpose is to activate downtown areas, create food truck, merchandise vendor, farmers and car exposure in new communities, and to partner with brick-and-mortar establishments for a popup event.

The events will be tailored to that village, township, or city. The framework of the event design is that it will include 5 trucks, a live band, DJ, merchandise booths, cars for the car show and farmers market booths. Hosted from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. it will be a short and hopefully impactful event.

Festival Fridays will take place throughout Kalamazoo and area Counties, so attention to filing "Intent To Serve" will be outlined in the confirmation process. Festival Fridays will take place on the second Friday of the month, May through August. These dates available are:

  • June 12 (Plainwell)
  • July 10 (TBA)
  • August 14 (TBA)
