Survey of Mental Health Impacts of Wildfire and Extreme Weather
South Cariboo B.C

The Canadian Mental Health Association South Cariboo Branch, is conducting a short survey to better understand how wildfires and extreme weather are impacting the mental health of citizens in the area.

Extreme weather includes unpredictable changing weather patterns, severe wildfires, periods of high heat and smoke, flooding, landslides, and risk of evacuation. It is normal to be emotionally and mentally distressed by these events.

The information gathered will help identify local impacts and inform how to support residents in the South Cariboo. Summary results from the survey will be made publicly available on the Canadian Mental Health - South Cariboo Branch website and the 100 Mile Free Press newspaper.

There may be opportunity for more community wide discussion on the results of the survey. Your responses will be valuable for informing local decision-makers, funders, and community organizations.

The survey will take less than 5 minutes, and individual responses will remain confidential. You can withdraw from the survey at any time.
