Take a LEAP - Be sugar savvy on Leap Day!

1-Day Sugar Savvy Pledge:
On Monday, February 29, 2016 - Pledge to be savvy about added sugar, in whatever way you choose! Ideas include:
  • Drink more water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages
  • Start the day with a savory breakfast, such as savory oatmeal or eggs
  • Look out for one of the many names for added sugar within the ingredient list on packaged foods 
  • Enjoy seasonal fruit after dinner rather than dessert with added sugar
  • Reduce the amount of sugar added to your coffee or tea
  • If you're really motivated - For this one day, try avoiding added sugar as much as possible. It may be harder than you think!
