Sugar Savvy Pledge Take a LEAP - Be sugar savvy on Leap Day! 1-Day Sugar Savvy Pledge:On Monday, February 29, 2016 - Pledge to be savvy about added sugar, in whatever way you choose! Ideas include: Drink more water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages Start the day with a savory breakfast, such as savory oatmeal or eggs Look out for one of the many names for added sugar within the ingredient list on packaged foods Enjoy seasonal fruit after dinner rather than dessert with added sugar Reduce the amount of sugar added to your coffee or tea If you're really motivated - For this one day, try avoiding added sugar as much as possible.
